To All Members of Carolina Coworking,
Our first priority is to protect those most important to us by ensuring the health and safety of our members, guests, visitors and their families. We are at the beginning of uncertain times, as you have undoubtedly witnessed in the news and by the University’s response. It is still unknown how severe this outbreak will be. We are closely monitoring daily developments and have a detailed plan to ensure we can continue to maintain a safe workplace and encourage and/or adopt practices protecting the health of our members, visitors or others.
We are prepared with the supplies we need, including hand soap, paper towels and commercial grade EPA approved disinfectant. Our janitorial service will continue daily cleaning services and have augmented them with additional disinfectant for high-touch surfaces.
We ask that you consider the following:
- Stay home when you are sick
- Wash your hands frequently with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds
- Cover your mouth with tissues whenever you sneeze, and discard used tissues in the trash (not the recycle bins)
- Avoid people who are sick with respiratory symptoms
- Clean frequently touched surfaces
Our response plan starts with the steps above and progresses to more serious measures we can consider if this situation escalates. For now, we will continue with normal operations and ask that you help us keep Carolina Coworking a safe place to work. We will continue to monitor and send updates as needed. We do want to stress that if you are feeling sick, please do not come in to Carolina Coworking. We reserve the right to ask someone to leave if they are showing signs of illness.
Thank you for being a member of Carolina Coworking. These are challenging times but I want you to know that we stand ready to help however we can. We understand the important role we play in the functioning of your business and humbled by the trust you place in us. Together, we can get through this.
